I’m actually one of those persons who don’t believe in screen protectors since most screens are made to withstand scratches. But there are exemptions to some. Put a phone in a pocket with keys and coins most of the time there would be chances it would get some scratch. The same for camera screens which usually is a an object of abuse when bringing it out on travel. Cameras sometimes collide together with other items when in a pack or even out in the open when hiking or rummaging in a busy street. Either way, LCD screens gets scratched one way or another. I’ve been contemplating on getting a screen guard for my OM-D and it was timely that Expert Shield Screen Protector sent in a few samples specific to my Olympus OM-D to try out.
I was shopping around for a sleeve for my MacBook Pro when I ended up on a Lowe Pro Store in a mall. Known mostly for its camera bags and accessories, I was surprised they also carry laptop sleeves like Acme Made which is quite famous in the USA for its quality bags and sleeves for most Apple products. After looking around, I ended up getting the Acme Made SF Slick Sleeve.
Summer has just started so there’s still time to get this awesome Lagu Beach Towel! So what’s so special about them?
- It’s sand repellant! (aside from getting those annoying sand on your clothes and stuff it helps preserve the sands on the beach, leaving them where they belong)
- It’s quick dry! (very convenient especially for packing)
- It’s allergen free (Personally it doesn’t itch on the skin)
- It’s proudly Philippine Made! (love our local products!)

I remember going there only to re-stock my supplies of Blank DVDs and CDs but now they sell just about anything from curious items like usb-powered mini-fountains to refrigerators and windmills. While I try to avoid sophisticated electronic items for their questionable quality, I do find a lot of items from them very useful. The latest one that caught my eye were the Multi-Purpose Cleaning Gel for electronics. I used to see them on other Electronic shops selling for about P300+ but here, it’s about P50. I had to try it out. Continue reading

Traveling can take a toll physically especially on long journeys. When I find myself coming in on a destination from a long transit, I allow myself time to recharge so when I explore a destination I would have a clear head and more alert with my surroundings. One sure way to get the energy back is to have a quality sleep but that’s not always easy adapting to a new environment or you’re in company who have a different lighting preference with you while you sleep. Tempur Philippines recently introduced me on some of their accessories to make sleep a lot more comfortable.
Tempur in the Philippines had me try a couple of their Travel Accessories namely the Travel Pillow and the Sleep Mask. I already know the reputation of Tempur when it comes to pillows and and mattresses. Hey it’s the only way one can try NASA and Space Foundation certified products on a regular consumer basis.
