What’s keeping me busy these days? Vacations with relatives is one, setting up some legal stuff is another, and lately I’ve decided to keep my photo archive up there in the cloud. I realized that I need access to my hi-res archives whenever I travel for that random image request I’ve been getting. I know I can’t carry my 2 external hard drives with me all the time so I decided that online storage space would be the solution.
There’s a big lull on my entries from the last one. Well I’m hoping to make up for at least 1 entry per week if I can. There’s a bunch of 20mm environmental portraits to feature here and some articles I’ve writter on photography before. For the meantime it’s the Chinese New Year’s Eve. here’s the traditional Ang Pao or Chinese Red Envelope that symbolize good luck and to ward off evil. Wishing everyone a blessed Year of the Metal Rabbit ahead.
I know from personal experience that mobile phones are getting much powerful these days that I sometimes find myself browsing through my favorite sites whenever I’m on the move anywhere. Just spreading the content of my sites in different platforms, I’m launching the new Ironwulf En Route OVI App for Nokia based phones. It delivers the latest updates from Ironwulf En Route, The Digital Dispatches and My Flickr Stream.
The App is Free which you could find here at the OVI Store. If you have a Nokia device with OVI Store, just search for Ironwulf and you’ll find the App there. It’s compatible on most Nokia Devices but is optimized for the latest handsets like the Nokia N8 where you can add a widget on the homepage to see real time updates.
I’m currently here on a tour in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. We had a stunning morning at the mangrove beach fronting Microtel. We’ll be going around the area until Sunday. In the meantime Backpack Photography Lake Sebu Photo Tour is now open for registration. We only have 12 slots so interested participants should regsiter now.
Aside from the alluring covers from Iwa Moto and Bangs Garcia, the March 2010 issue of FHM Philippines is also the 10th anniversary of the local publication. And I got a few hints that I should also check out the issue since Ironwulf.net was mentioned on this issue. I’m an easy person to please and I was amused to see the site under a page feature of “Blogs with Balls”. Thank you very much to FHM Philippines for the mention. Here’s the write up on the feature:
I’m finally back in Manila. I was in Singapore for almost 11 days. And funny when I was there, I usually explore the famed country in the afternoon welcoming the evening. Witnessing the day break and greeted by Singapore’s majestic lights by night. I like the city, a bit expensive but surprisingly unique as it says. But beyond that there are seldom seen sights in the island I was able to explore which I will soon be chronicling on Ironwulf.net.
