Salomon X-Trail Run Pilipinas 2018: Go Beyond Boundaries

Trail runners rejoice as the most attended trail running event in the Philippines returns this 2018 for the 7th season. The Salomon X-Trail Run Pilipinas 2018 promises to be bigger, better and more challenging to inspire runners to go beyond their boundaries. Set to happen on July 22, 2018 at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Salomon X-Trail Run hopes to surpass last year’s turn out of 1,200 participants to up to 1,500 this year.

Salomon X-Trail Run Pilipinas 2018

This year’s Salomon X-Trail Run Pilipinas 2018 returns to Subic Bay Freeport Zone. The distances remains the same, the beginner friendly 6km and 12km Trail Run and the tough 24km and 32km Mountain Run. The difference are the added challenges on the trail and the afternoon activities that kids can also enjoy. Check out the details for each run distance:

32km Mountain Run

  • Targeted for advanced trail runners who look for more adrenaline-filled adventures. This route involves a mixture of different terrains from asphalt, to sand, to rocks, to river crossing & technical ascents. This category simulates ascents of Skyrunning races – the arena wherein Salomon dominates.
  • Medical certificate is required upon registration.
  • Mandatory gear for this category: Whistle, Hydration Pack/belt with at least 500mL water. This will be checked prior to race start. No Mandatory gear, No race.
  • Finisher’s medal for those who finish within cut-off time (7hours).
  • Race start: 7:00 AM Cut off: 2:00 AM
  • Race Fee: P2,300
24km Mountain Run

24km Mountain Run

  • Targeted to trail runners who want to take their race to the next level, with technical ascents and varying terrain. This category simulates ascents of Skyrunning races – the arena wherein Salomon dominates.
  • Medical certificate is required upon registration.
  • Mandatory gear for this category: Whistle, Hydration Pack/belt with at least 500mL water. This will be checked prior to race start. No Mandatory gear, No race.
  • Finisher’s medal for those who finish within cut-off time (5hours).
  • Race start: 9:00 AM Cut off: 2:00 AM
  • Race Fee: P2,000

12km Trail Run

  • The 12 km Trail Run targets runners with basic trail running experience who wants to level up and experience technical terrain.
  • Race start: 11:00 AM
  • Race Fee: P1,500
6km Trail Run

6km Trail Run

  • The 6km Trail Run category targets beginners who want to explore the world of trail running. Road runners are very welcome, to experience a different adrenaline rush.
  • Race start: 11:00 AM
  • Race Fee: P1,200

Bring Your Own Water Bottle

Salomon X-trail Pilipinas 2018 is a GREEN RACE. No disposables are allowed in the race route. All runners are required to bring their own water bottle. Salomon has been the PIONEER in this movement, since 2010
