Yes I miss Siquijor. It’s one of the first few islands I visited in the Visayas region and until now I yearn to go back and be enchanted again. For the meantime, check out some of my photos on the November 2013 issue of Cebu Pacific’s Smile Magazine inflight. Just looking at those photos makes me want to go back and see what has changed throughout the years.
Lake Sebu is one of my favorite places in Mindanao and is one of my early explorations in the area. The Tboli people and their weaving are featured in the month’s Cebu Pacific Air’s Smile Magazine. The story “Weave a Lot to Learn” tackles on the Tboli Dreamweavers. Also featured on the story are some of my images, from the opening spread to the next two pages. You can read the online version of the story at the CebuSmile website.
Just a sweet and short post for you guys. If ever you’re flying Cebu Pacific Air this month of May 2013, do check out the latest issue Smile Magazine. Got a couple of Camiguin shots there. The big one is the opener for the Trip Journal section. So don’t forget to check the front pocket of your seats when on board!
If you’re flying Jetstar Asia anytime this month of February 2012, do check out the Jetstar Magazine, the airline’s Inflight Magazine. I have a 5 page story there on the Fort on how a military encampment morphed into Manila’s playground for the trendy and hip. Accompanying the article are awesome photos from Lester Ledesma and Walter Villa. I also have a couple there on my own. Check out the pages here.
I’ve been pretty grateful for the publication staff at Cebu Pacific’s Smile Inflight Magazine as one of the regular photo stock clients. If you are flying Cebu Pacific anytime this month, grab a copy of their latest inflight magazine January 2012 issue. I got some sandboarding photos there and one from Bohol.
It’s already mid-month but if you’re flying Cebu Pacific anytime soon, check out their latest SMILE Inflight Magazine for November 2011. I got the opener photo here for their Catanduanes feature. Written by fellow writer, photographer and blogger Kara Santos of Travel UP. Do check it out.
