Mabuhay is probably the longest running Travel and Lifestyle Magazine in the Philippines. Now the inflight magazine is no longer confined inside the business class cabins on local flights or in the international flights of Philipine Airlines since last month as they have already gone commercial with the magazine now available at the stands. The January 2012 is a jam-packed 152 page with features on Beijing and Shanghai, interview with Robin Esrock and a section on “How to shoot festivals” especially on this month of festivities. I also contributed a story with photos about Dipolog and Dapitan on “Finding Rizal” from my last visit there in 2011. Check it out when your onboard or at the bookstores and magazine stands.
If you are flying Philippine Airlines this month of December 2011, do check out the latest Mabuhay Magazine. Got a few photos here in their “Manila to Pagudpud” feature, namely the Crisologo, Sta Maria Church and the Sand boarding photos. The issue is loaded with up to 200 pages for the Christmas issue. Do check it out!
It’s already mid-month but if you’re flying Cebu Pacific anytime soon, check out their latest SMILE Inflight Magazine for November 2011. I got the opener photo here for their Catanduanes feature. Written by fellow writer, photographer and blogger Kara Santos of Travel UP. Do check it out.
If you are flying Seair within the couple of months October and November. Don’t forget to check out the recent issue of Seair’s InFlight Magazine. Main feature here is Puerto Princesa. I also wrote a short article on Macau for their City Guides and featured some of my photos there.
Cebu Pacific Airline will soon be flying to Tawi-tawi from Zamboanga starting this October. And to hype up the interest on the destination, CEB’s inflight Magazine Smile is giving you a glimpse of what’s in Tawi-tawi on their August-September 2011 issue. If you are flying CEB anytime these months, check out the magazine and flip over to the Trip Journal section where you could see a couple of my photos used on the opener (The Balobok Rock Shelter) and the destination guide (Pagasinan Shipbuilding) respectively.
It’s all about Romantic Getaways, Room for Twos and finding the Best Booze on Seair Inflight’s February-March 2011 Issue. Also inside is a walk through Binondo to welcome this year’s Year of the Rabbit. Got a photo on their opening spread for “The China Syndrome”. Check out the rest of the issue’s feature at Seair Inflight’s Facebook Page.
