It was 2014 at the height of “Humans of New York” popularity. It was a year of stories about people. Cebu Pacific air wanted to do something similar but more on the local side. Hence “Juan of a Kind” was born. Aside from photos, it had some video clips of random people interviews on locations CEB flies. I was fortunately tapped as one of the photographers sent to several locations to interview people. I was assigned to Tacloban, Bohol, Zamboanga, Tawi-tawi and Macau to talk to people and share snippets of their lives. I think I interviewed more than a hundred here and some even became friends. It was one enriching project.
